We were looking for a place that was baby and dog friendly. We asked on the off chance if it was ok to take the dog in. Of course was the answer. The food was all home made including the sourdough bread which was delicious. The cakes were so inviting we bought some for takeaway. The welcome was warm and we would not hesitate to recommend this tea room to anyone.
Warm friendly staff. All home made cakes, breads and jams. Had the full cream tea which was great.

Love this place, so uniform and in keeping with the company genre. Creamies are the best!!!
Nice place. Like any other Costa should be.

A funny little café on Ilfracombe high street. Go to Ilfracombe. It is a great place but stick to the harbour. We ended up in this funny little tea shop because we were starving and had 30 minutes to wait for a bus. They do tea and scones and toasties (grilled sandwiches) and standard sort of lunch fare. They also do milkshakes. Word of warning for non UK tourists: English milkshakes are basically flavoured milk so you might be disappointed with that option. I had the "luxury" version which ended up being flavoured milk with whipped cream on top. Food was fine. Place was clean. Service friendly and prompt. Great for a quick bite but a bit expensive for what it was. At the end of the day, if you find yourself in Ilfracombe head down to the harbour to one of the many eateries there. More fun and a better view!
Best cream tea's for miles around. There sandwiches are fab, bread slices like doorsteps.
