Tunnels Beaches

Bath Pl, Ilfracombe EX34 8AN, UK – 01271 879882

Excellent location. History on the walls to beaches very informative. Perfect for a day relaxing with sheltered pools for a cool down. Excellent facilities including very clean toilets

We got married at Tunnel Beaches on 15th April 2017. When we originally viewed the Tunnels neither my then fiance or I could of imagined getting married anywhere else. It was us all over- relaxed, informal, fun, incredibly beautiful and they served BBQs! It was like it was made for us. We were blessed on the day with glorious sunshine. The whole day was more than we could of ever imagined. Everything went smoothly, the food was amazing, the staff were fab and I couldn't fault a thing. We have had so many compliments on what an amazing wedding and venue it was. It was so different to what anyone had been to before, which is exactly what we wanted. My highlight of the whole day was dancing on the veranda overlooking the sea with our nearest and dearest as the sun set. We are already looking forward to coming back down to visit on our anniversary next year. Thanks so much to Jamie, Tanya and the rest of the team for making our weekend so special Gill & Andy x

Chambercombe Manor

Chambercombe Ln, Ilfracombe EX34 9RJ, UK – 01271 862624

Fantastic old manor house full of wonderful stories expertly told by great guide with huge extensive knowledge. Would come back and bring others next time. Well worth a visit. Mark ( Ash Vale, Surrey )

We went to the Manor on Tuesday August, 9th We had the 12md tour. The guide who took us around was very good. She knew her stuff, she was very interesting to listen too. All the volunteers were very friendly and helpful. We had our lunch in the Buttery which was spotless clean and the staff in the Buttery were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed looking around the gardens. On the day we had a very enjoyable day.
