One of the most transformative weeks of my life. The technique of the detox isn't that complex but it is the 20 years of knowledge and expertise that you are getting from Dao, Daniel and Nicky that run the retreat who take the simple detoxing tool of thousands of years and catapult it into a highly effective program. My results were mind blowing. I lost 11 pounds in 6 days and although I wasn't there for the weight loss that cannot be ignored. I have come away with so much more understanding of how our bodies work. I have visited these type of things before and never been able to implement it or relate it to my home life but this time, thanks to the fantastic talks and classes they run throughout the week, these habits will be sticking
When I was on the train, I gave serious consideration to getting the next train back to London. I'm really glad that I didn't. The fast sounds horrific, no food and only some juice but it isn't as hard as it seems. Yes, there are days when you're up and others when you're down but overall, it's a great experience. There are various events throughout the day. Tai Chi, Yoga, Relaxation exercises and Nutritional talks. There are also various types of massage treatments available. All are great, the Nutritional talks are very enlightening. They put food in an overall context and explain the how and the why of our cravings and give you the information you need to make changes to your life. There's no judgment, so if you turn up to things, great. If you need to sleep, also great. It's what you need to do for your body to help it heal. The last day, is the creation of a raw food feast and guidance on moving back into the real world. Staying at Sura and fasting is a great way to give your body time to relax, re-charge and heal itself

We found this place looking for soft play for our 2yo daughter. It is a simple soft play with a big slide, some foam ball cannons and a foam shapes area. She absolutely loved it, the slide is quite fast which she loved and went up and down for nearly an hour. Also the owners are lovely, there was no one on the roller rink when we got there so they offered us a scooter for our daughter which she also had great fun on, they even put paw patrol on the big screen for her while she was scooting around. Drinks are reasonable prices and very good (real coffee). Would recommend to anyone.
Had our daughters birthday party here and her and all her friends loved it, staff were very helpful and was great value.... we will definitely be back.

Great location. Restaurant is a lovely room with a stunning view and the food has been both generous and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. The deal we got is great. Rooms are clean and neat but run down. Could do with a proper revamp rather than a touch up. Not the most comfortable bed so not the best night sleep either. No private car park so calculate car parking into your budget.
It's an okay hotel in a great location. Its a family run business and they're really polite and helpful. Sufficient beer at the bar however it was not quite cold enough. The room was clean and tidy and it was very affordable.
