Had to go to this Dental Practice as an Emergency whilst on holiday in Woolacombe, I can not praise this place enough, my tooth had to be extracted, and the care I was given was exceptional, just wish I lived closer as I would love to be a patient here, thankyou so much.
i attended this practice as an emergency patient and every other dentist i have been to never made me feel comforable but the dentist i had called Rebecca was absolutly great at putting me at ease I WOULD RECOMMEND this dentist unreservedly and am hoping to be put on the waiting list

I have been treated by Vicky for the last couple of weeks and it is the first time I have looked forwards to going to the Dentist, The whole practice goes out of the way to make your visit as pleasant as possible and they are all very relaxed friendly professional and all in all nice, Cant praise them enough.
Treated by Sarah who was very kind and gentle, making a pleasant change from my long in the tooth but competent home dentist, no pun intended! I am a visitor to the area but would recommend Sarah who , although newly trained, has an air of quiet confidnce. Fitted in at short notice so very happy all round. Would be happy to return for any dental emergencies, but obviously hoping not to!

One person saw fit to review with a one star review and absolutely no explanation. I don't know what their problem was, they may have had a bad experience, but how pathetic to damn this wonderful cottage hospital with their single experience. I live in Ilfracombe, and our little cottage hospital is a godsend, we have used it as a family on many occasions for all sorts of things, and there are countless people alive today thanks directly to the best medical treatment and advice available without having to drive all the way to Barnstaple.
Good little hospital. They do the best they can with the little budget they have.

Went on Thursday Caribbean night. Food very good tried the taster menu. Service not so good abandoned a bit in the corner. Desert not so good and order messed up.
A warm and genuine welcome. Everyone was truly friendly and nothing was any trouble. An extensive menu to choose from, I struggled to make up my mind as I fancied so much! Opted for the curry in the end. Most enjoyable, mango chutney, poppadom and mint raita. It was homemade and had lovely big chunks of chicken. Because everything was homemade I decided to have a pudding-sticky toffee and date sponge with ice cream. It was the highlight of the meal! Homemade, gently warmed through and a generous slice. We will be back. Thank you!

Amazing food and amazing service. It's a quiet lovely restaurant serving beautifully well cooked fresh fish. We had the scallops which were perfect (it's a must), the mussels were delicious and the fish soup was to die for. The home made cheese cake is simply the best I've ever had. Ultra kind and meticulous service. Asked the waitress for a piece of cake for my partner's birthday and she kindly prepared few portions to take home. Thanks Tara we are recommending your restaurant to everyone. We will sure be back!
Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. Crab cakes , scallops and mains of dressed crab and sole. All well cooked and a lovely atmosphere/banter between owner and clientel. Service was good. Prices mid range and compared to other south cooast and sw coast places we thought fairly typical without bejng overpriced...we will certainly eat here again.

Wonderful restaurant! Staff were incredibly welcoming, the venue is beautiful and well laid out and the food was incredible. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of food served. The sea bass was a winning choice as was the chocolate fondant for dessert. Can't go wrong booking in here for a meal!
Great view to sit out or near exit for quay view. Excellent service from warm and friendly staffs. Very kind thought of chef to wrap the lemon with gauze for fresh oyster (in photo). Tasty fish of the day with mussels. Devonshire cream tea can be found here. Love their scones with cream & strawberry jam, soft yet not too sweet.
